A worn drive shaft bushing causes annoying vibration and exessive wear to the drive shaft and universal joint. A worn seal permits the transmission fluid to drain back to the rear axle - overfilling the differential and causing the transmission to run dry. Always replace the seal when installing a new bushing. See CV-716 for replacment seal. Be sure to use 600W gear oil for lubrication after re-assembly. See VT-40 for 600W gear oil.
